This quilt was purchased as a kit by Arlene Lafosse from Painted Pony in LaPorte, Texas. It's the only kit she's ever made, and it was a joy from beginning to end.
Nellie's Needlers began as a small quilting bee in 1982. 25 years later, we're still going strong with a current group of 11 talented women (3 of whom are original members!) We meet every Wednesday (as we have from the beginning) at a different member's home to stitch (sometimes!) and to keep up with each other's lives (always!)
